What is NUCCA?

The National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) is a gentle, non-invasive technique that was developed more than fifty years ago to create a holistic approach to healing that can help restore body balance and optimal health. 

The focus of NUCCA care is the relationship between the upper cervical spine (neck) and its influence on the central nervous system and brain stem function. It is this relationship that affects every aspect of human function from the feeling sensations in your fingers to regulating hormones, controlling movement, and providing the ability to hear, see, think, and breathe.

When we adjust the top of the neck, it relieves pressure on the brain stem, which controls the communication pathway between your brain and body, as well as breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and many other vital functions.
